Jason Griswold, LICSW, founded Solvegg Collective in 2026, inspired by his gift for and teaching and leading others. After graduating in 2014 with his MSW from St. Catherine University and the University of St. Thomas, he has honed his clinical and leadership skills, eventually stepping into the role of clinical director. For Jason, fostering growth others is not just a business; it's a source of life satisfaction. With Solvegg Collective, he is dedicated to providing clinical supervision and consultations while also being open to additional clinical service offerings in the future.

What We Do
My work is defined by a commitment to perpetual growth. Empowerment is at the heart of everything I do. I believe that when clinicians are supported, their clients thrive. When working with clinicians, I emphasize relational theory as a way for clinicians to use an approach easily accessable to them that helps clinicians experience the therapeutic connection as a deep healing "lab" allowing for the patients world to become fully alive in the therapy room for deep healing.
1. Clinical Supervision: I offer supervision via Telehealth for pre-licensed clinicians seeking hours towards their LPCC licensure and for LGSW's seeking hours towards their LICSW licensure. Clinicians and patients they work with must be located in Minnesota.
2. Consultation: I offer professional consultations to fully licensed clinicians located anywhere in the country. Supervision helps clinicians to combat stress, burnout and isolation. Once clinicians are fully licensed, the amount of support built into their work schedule often is greatly reduced or becomes non-existent. Seeking consultation can help clinicians work through difficult situations, ethical dilemmas or deepen their knowledge or skills in a particular modality.
What the Heck Is Solvegg?
Jason was raised in Minnesota in a family with Norwegian heritage and traditions. Doing some research into Norwegian traditions, Jason came across the tradition of a wall warmed by the sun during the frigid days of the northern nordic country. Norwegian cabins often include a wall warmed by the sun and out of direct wind (typically southern wall). The idea was first conceived in 1913 by a bookkeeper named Oscar Kittilsen and later championed by industrialist Sam Eyde as outlined HERE by the BBC. So why Solvegg?
The word sol means "sun" and the word vegg means "wall" in Norwegian. Therefore sol and vegg put together as solvegg means sun wall. The word solvegg perfectly describes the essence of Solvegg Collective. Solvegg Collective is a place where clinicians and patients come for connection, warmth, support, and growth at an appropriate pace customized for each individual clinician.
